Make your own Greek yogurt for snacking and recipes!
First, line a sieve or strainer with a double layer of cheesecloth, then place over a deep plate or in a larger bowl to catch drips. Spoon in plain yogurt and cover with plastic wrap. Stir after an hour, then let yogurt continue to drain off excess liquid for 6 or so more hours.
When the process is complete, use Greek yogurt as you would sour cream in savory dishes, or in this yummy snack with fresh pears and walnuts. You can also try stone fruits, berries and granola.
