Simple Roasted Asparagus

2pounds fresh asparagus, woody ends snapped off
2tablespoons fresh olive oil
1/2teaspoon coarse salt
2teaspoons cracked black pepper
Juice of 1/2 of a lemon


  1. Preheat oven to 425F.
  2. Combine asparagus, oil, salt and pepper in a baking pan. Roast 10 minutes, or until tender. Drizzle with lemon juice.
