Peach Buttermilk Frozen Yogurt

  • Yield: 8 servings


3cups mashed, peeled peaches, or frozen peach slices, thawed
3/4cup brown sugar
2cups buttermilk
2cups low-fat plain yogurt
2teaspoons vanilla extract


  1. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Cover and chill until very cold.
  2. Freeze in an ice cream freezer following manufacturer’s instructions.
  3. Serve immediately or transfer to a freezer container and freeze. Makes about 6 cups.
