Mint Julep Iced Tea
Southern sweet tea gets a bourbon boost in this creative take on the mint julep.
Refreshing and not nearly as potent as the real thing.
Ingredients (6)
- 12 to 16 mint sprigs, plus more for garnish
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/3 cup bourbon
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 recipe Southern Sweet Tea
- 1 lemon, sliced
Directions
- Lightly crush mint leaves with sugar in a serving pitcher. Add bourbon, lemon juice, Southern Sweet Tea and sliced lemon. Serve over crushed ice. Garnish each serving with a sprig of mint.
