Light alfredo sauce

  • Yield: 4 servings


1package Lite cream cheese
1/2cup butter
1tablespoon minced garlic
1-1/12cup low fat milk
6ounces grated Parmesan cheese
1dash nutmeg
1dash parsley
1dash oregano


  1. Melt butter in a medium pan over medium heat;
  2. Add garlic and cream cheese and stir with wire whisk until smooth;
  3. Add milk, a little at a time, while whisking to stir out lumps;
  4. Stir in Parmesan cheese and remaining ingredients.
  5. Toss with pasta.
