Homemade Pizza Bread


2cups all-purpose flour
1tablespoon baking powder
1teaspoon baking soda
1teaspoon salt and pepper
4 eggs
1/4cup canola oil
1cup buttermilk
1/2cup milk
1/2cup grated Romano cheese
3 1/2cups grated mozzarella cheese
2cups pepperoni slices, roughly chopped
1teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 jar pizza sauce
grated Parmesan cheese (for topping)


  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and pepper in a stand mixer.
  3. Continuing to stir, add eggs, canola oil, buttermilk, milk, Romano cheese, mozzarella cheese and pepperoni, until well incorporated into batter.
  4. Grease mini loaf pan.
  5. Spoon batter into wells, about half full. Top with a layer of pizza sauce, then another layer of batter. Finish with a sprinkling of Italian seasoning and a final layer of grated Parmesan cheese.
  6. Bake 45-55 mins.
