Easy Cheddar Cheese Bacon Dip

  • Yield: About 2 1/2 cups


1cup sour cream
2cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/3cup maple syrup
1/4teaspoon cayenne pepper
1pound crumbled cooked bacon
Chopped green onion


  1. In a saucepan, heat sour cream over medium-low until warm, about 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Add shredded cheddar cheese and continue stirring until melted, about 3 minutes. Stir in maple syrup and cayenne pepper. Add bacon, reserving 1 Tbsp for topping.
  2. Spoon into a serving bowl and top with reserved bacon and chopped green onion. Serve warm with crackers.
