Cinnamon Raisin Granola

Cinnamon Raisin Granola

3cups rolled oats
1cup roughly chopped walnuts
1cup raisins
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1tablespoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1/2cup safflower oil
1/2cup maple syrup
1teaspoon vanilla extract


  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Mix oats, walnuts, raisins, sunflower seeds, cinnamon, and salt (if desired) together in large mixing bowl. Make a well and pour in oil, syrup, and vanilla. Mix together well.
  3. Bake on cookie sheet for 10 minutes, then flip granola over and bake an additional 10 to 12 minutes. Note: To flip granola using two cookie sheets of the same size, lay second cookie sheet on top of first and do a quick flip from one cookie sheet to the other.
  4. Mix granola around on tray to ensure even browning. Watch edges, as they can brown more quickly than the rest (depending on your oven). Serve as is or with sliced apples.
