Easy Chicken and Waffle Bites

1 (20 oz)package frozen waffle fries (like Alexia)
1 (16 oz)package frozen breaded white meat chicken nuggets (like Perdue Simply Smart)
1/4cup pure maple syrup
2tablespoons hot sauce (like Frank’s RedHot)


  1. Bake waffle fries and chicken nuggets according to package directions. (Bake fries for the shortest recommended time so they don’t get too crispy.)
  2. Whisk together maple syrup and hot sauce. Place a chicken nugget on top of each waffle fry and lightly drizzle with syrup mixture. Secure with a toothpick, if desired. Makes 15 to 18 appetizers.
