- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 inches fresh ginger, minced
- 1 jalapeno chile, diced
- 1 (14.5 ounce can) diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup peanuts or cashews
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup buttermilk
