  • 4 to 6 cups fish broth, or chicken broth
  • 1 pinch saffron threads
  • 1 1/2 pounds fresh or frozen raw mussels in the shell
  • 1 pound fresh or frozen small clams
  • 1 1/2 pounds  raw medium or large shell-on shrimp
  • 1 sweet red bell pepper
  • 1 (10-ounce) package frozen peas
  • Spanish olive oil, to taste
  • Salt, to taste
