Whipped Cream Frosting (with no whipped cream!)
- Yield Many servings
- 1 cup whole milk
- 5 tablespoons flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup butter or margarine
- 1 cup sifted confectioner's sugar
Mix milk with flour in a jar. Pour into a small saucepan and cook until thick over low flame. Cool in refrigerator. Beat until creamy the butter, sugar and then add the vanilla. Add the flour mixture by spoonfuls, a little at a time. Beat until smooth.
