Walnut Maple Syrup Sauce with Coffee Ice Cream

- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons cream
- 1/4 cup chopped toasted walnuts
- 2-4 scoops coffee ice cream
In a small pot, bring the maple syrup to a boil. Boil for about 2 minutes over medium heat until the syrup starts to thicken. (When it does, the boiling bubbles will bubble more slowly.)
Remove from the heat and stir in the cream.
Let cool slightly. It can be made a head and reheated on top of the stove or in the microwave. Stir in the walnuts.
Pour over the ice cream and enjoy!
