Waldorf Chocolate Cake

  • Yield 9 - 16 servings

Ingredients

2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
2 teaspoons baking soda
4 tablespoons baking cocoa
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup water

Instructions

  1. Grease and flour 8" square pan. 
  2. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. 
  3. Sift dry ingredients until well blended. 
  4. Add remaining ingredients. Mix well. 
  5. Baking time 35 minutes.
  6. Remove from pan after 10-15 minutes and cool on a rack.
  7. Frost if desired.
