Two-Pepper Rub for Steak or Fish

Use this sweet-salty-cumin rub on steak, pork or fish.

This dry rub makes enough to coat 2 pounds of meat or fish.

Ingredients

2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 teaspoons kosher salt
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon finely grated lime rind
2 tablespoons freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients; mix well. Rub mixture on both sides of steak or fish before grilling.
