Teriyaki Glaze for Grilled Fruit or Vegetables
- Yield 8 servings
Most any firm, slightly under-ripe fruit -- pineapple, peaches, nectarines, bananas, papayas, mangos and avocados -- will work perfectly on the grill, and this Asian-style glaze will make it pop. It's great on chicken, too.
- 2 teaspoons Asian sesame oil
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/2 cup pineapple juice
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 2 teaspoons minced ginger root
- 1 tablespoon honey
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
