Sweet Baked Corn

  • Yield 8 servings


8 ounces sugar
4 tablespoons flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
4 eggs
1 can drained whole kernel corn
1 can creamed corn
4 ounces sugar
2 tablespoons flour
4 ounces water
2 ounces butter
1 teaspoon vanilla


  1. Mix ingredients together. Pour into a 9 x 13 inch casserole dish. Place dish in a shallow pan of water to keep bottom from burning. Bake at 350F for one hour.
  2. When baking is finished, pour on the sauce that is thickened by cooking on stovetop.
  3. Stir sauce with a whisk to remove lumps.
