Add the onions and fry with medium heat till slightly translucent in color. Pour the shredded chicken in and fry it with the onions for a few minutes. Next toss in the peanuts, honey, pepper, salt and soy sauce. Stir fry it in the pan for about 10 minutes. Finally stuff the honey-peanut chicken into the pita bread pockets and top it off with shredded lettuce.
