Stuffed Apple Surprise

A simple snack that’s full of ingredients that provide a boost of energy. Use cashew, almond or peanut butter for the center.


1 tablespoon almond or cashew butter
2 teaspoons chopped dates, apricots or dried cranberries
1 skin-on apple cut in half, cored and seeds removed with a melon baller or small spoon


  1. Combine almond butter and chopped fruits. Spoon into cavities in apple halves and reassemble apple by sticking halves back together around stuffing.
