String Beans with Almonds
- Yield 4 to 6 servings
This green bean dish, starring mushrooms and almonds, makes a great side dish.
- 1 package frozen French-cut string beans
- 1 -- (small) can mushrroms
- 2 tablespoons almonds (blanched)
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Cook string beans by directions on package. Sliver almonds; brown in butter, on low heat. Add mushrooms and liquor. When mushrooms brown, add drained beans. Serve immediately.
