Strawberry Banana Smoothie

Be sure to use vacuum packed silken tofu. Use calcium fortified juice and tofu for a high calcium jolt, too.

Ingredients

1pound fresh strawberries (about 1 quart), trimmed and halved
1 ripe banana, cut into pieces
1cup ice cubes
3ounces silken soft tofu
1cup orange juice
2tablespoons sugar

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender; process until smooth. Makes 4 cups.
