Strawberry Banana Smoothie
- Yield 4 servings
This creamy drink is loaded with vitamin C and potassium.
Be sure to use vacuum packed silken tofu. Use calcium fortified juice and tofu for a high calcium jolt, too.
- 1 pound fresh strawberries (about 1 quart), trimmed and halved
- 1 ripe banana, cut into pieces
- 1 cup ice cubes
- 3 ounces silken soft tofu
- 1 cup orange juice
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- Combine all ingredients in a blender; process until smooth. Makes 4 cups.
