Strawberry Banana Smoothie

  • Yield 4 servings

This creamy drink is loaded with vitamin C and potassium.

Be sure to use vacuum packed silken tofu. Use calcium fortified juice and tofu for a high calcium jolt, too.


1 pound fresh strawberries (about 1 quart), trimmed and halved
1 ripe banana, cut into pieces
1 cup ice cubes
3 ounces silken soft tofu
1 cup orange juice
2 tablespoons sugar


  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender; process until smooth. Makes 4 cups.
