Spicy Barbecue Shrimp

2 pounds large shrimp
1 1/2 teaspoons coarse salt
2 tablespoons freshly ground pepper
2 tablespoons peanut oil
2 tablespoons sesame oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper


Peel and devein 2 pounds of shrimp; leave tails on and pat dry. Place in a large bowl. In small bowl, mix together all remaining ingredients then coat the shrimp with the marinade. Cover and marinate for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Preheat grill to 350 degrees. Grill on perforated grill sheet, turning once, taking care not to overcook – shrimp should be firm.
