Spicy Walnuts

2cups walnut halves
1tablespoon sugar
1/4teaspoon salt
1/2teaspoon garlic powder
1/2teaspoon ground cumin
1/4teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4teaspoon cayenne pepper
1tablespoon canola oil


  1. Preheat oven 375F.
  2. Spread walnuts across baking sheet and toast until golden brown, around 5-7 minutes.
  3. Mix sugar, salt, garlic powder, cumin, cinnamon and cayenne.
  4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and add nuts, making sure to coat them. Toss in  seasoning mix, and stir nuts until entirely coated.
  5. Place nuts on a paper towel to cool.
