Spectacular Chocolate Carrot Cake

1cup all purpose flour
1cup whole wheat flour
1/4cup milled flax seed
2teaspoons baking powder
1 1/2teaspoons baking soda
1/2teaspoon salt
2teaspoons cinnamon
1 1/2cups vegetable oil
1 1/2cups cane sugar
2tablespoons molasses
4-- eggs
1pound fresh grated carrots
1cup coarsely ground walnuts
1 1/2teaspoons pure vanilla extract
3/4cup cocoa powder


Sift flour, cocoa, cinnamon, soda, powder, salt together.

Combine, oil and sugar,  molasses and vanilla in a large  mixing bowl and whisk together. Add eggs, one at a time. 

Stir flour mixture into the egg mixture. 

Stir in carrots and nuts.

Bake in a preheated 350 degree over for approximately 45 minutes or until cake tests done.
