Special Occasion Chocolate Pie
- Yield 6-8 servings
- large box cook & serve chocolate pudding
- 3 -- egg yolks
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 6 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- Mix all ingredients in saucepan.
- Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until fulll boil.
- Remove from heat & let cool a couple minutes.
- Pour into baked 9" pie shell.
Top with meringue & bake at 400 until brown.
Cool pie and serve with whipped cream.
