You are here: Home » Recipes » South Asian Chicken Wraps South Asian Chicken Wraps Yield servings PrintEmail Ingredients Marinade:2 tablespoons rice vinegar3 tablespoons fish sauce3 tablespoons lime juice2 tablespoons brown sugar1/4 teaspoon white pepper1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes1 pound chicken breast, chopped in 1/2 inch cubes1 onion, chopped1/2 red bell pepper, chopped1/2 green bell pepper, chopped2 cloves garlic, minced2 tablespoons vegetable oil1 tablespoon cilantro leaves1 cup fresh basil leaves3 tablespoons oyster sauce1 tablespoon soy sauce4 large whole wheat wraps1 cup shredded green leaf lettuce cilantro and basil leaves for garnish Instructions 1. Wisk together marinade ingredients and pour over chicken. Set aside. 2. Heat oil in large skillet on medium-high 3. Add garlic, onion and 1 T. cilantro leaves to pan, cook until onion starts to become translucent 4. Add bell peppers and heat for one additional minute 5. Add chicken and marinade to pan. Cook until chicken is cooked through and sauce begins to thicken (approximately 5 minutes) 6. Stir oyster sauce, soy sauce and 1 cup basil leaves into chicken mixture 7. Assemble wraps by placing lettuce and chicken mixture on the center of each wrap. Top with a few fresh basil and cilantro leaves, roll wraps closed and enjoy!
