PrintEmail Ingredients 1 3/4 cups oatmeal1 3/4 cups flour1 cup brown sugar1 teaspoon baking soda1 cup butter or margarine, softenedFilling4 egg yolks, beaten1 1/2 cups sugar3 tablespoons corn starch1 teaspoon vanilla2 cups California raisins2 cups sour cream Instructions Preheat oven to 350F. In a small mixer bowl, mix oatmeal, flour, brown sugar, soda and softened butter or margarine until crumbly. Press 2/3 of the mixture into a 13 x 9-inch pan. Reserve 1/3 for topping. Bake crust 10 minutes. Remove from oven and set aside. In a medium saucepan, add filling ingredients. Cook until thickened over medium heat, stirring constantly (the mixture can burn easily). Pour thickened filling over the baked crust. Top with reserved crumbs. Bake 20 minutes. Let cool. Cut into small bars. Leftovers should be refrigerated.
