PrintEmail Ingredients 4 -- pork chops2 tablespoons cooking oil -- Salt and pepper to taste1 cup uncooked rice1 cup tomatoes1 -- onion, sliced1 cup beef consomme1/2 teaspoon thyme1 -- green bell pepper, sliced Instructions Salt and pepper pork chops and brown in cooking oil. Remove and set aside. Pour uncooked rice into dripping in skillet and cook, stirring constantly until rice turns a light brown. Place remaining ingredients in the skillet with rice. Lay pork chops on top. Cover and simmer around 45 minutes, or until liquid is absorbed.
