skiers french toast

  • Yield 8-10 servings


2 tablespoons corn syrup
1/2 cup butter
1 cup light brown sugar
1 loaf italian bread
5 -- eggs
1 1/2 cups milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt


1Simmer corn syrup, butter & brown sugar in sauce pan til sugar is melted.
2Pour syrup into buttered 13X9 glass pan
 3Cut bread into 3/4" slices & place in pan over syrup.
4Whisk eggs,vanilla, milk & salt. pour over bread.
5Cover & refrigerate over night.
6When ready to bake, uncover & bake at 350 for 45 minutes
