Simple Roasted Asparagus

Roasted asparagus is a classic accompaniment to glazed ham, rosemary chicken, or even a juicy beef tenderloin.
- 2 pounds fresh asparagus, woody ends snapped off
- 2 tablespoons fresh olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon coarse salt
- 2 teaspoons cracked black pepper
- Juice of 1/2 of a lemon
- Preheat oven to 425F.
- Combine asparagus, oil, salt and pepper in a baking pan. Roast 10 minutes, or until tender. Drizzle with lemon juice.
