Sausage, Olive and Tomato Alfredo Pasta Delight

3 cloves Garlic
1/4 medium White Onion
1 package Favorite Hot Sausage Links (Turkey or Beef)
1 can Large Pitted Olives
1 can Diced Tomatoes with Basil, Garlic and Oregano
2 cans Jars of Alfredo Sauce
2 stalks Fresh Basil
1/2 cup Shredded Parmesan Cheese
1 dash Salt
1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
1/4 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
1 tablespoon Olive Oil
1 package Favorite Pasta
1 loaf Garlic Bread
2 large Bottles of Red Wine


1) Pre-Heat oven according to to directions for Garlic Bread

2) Boil water and follow directions for cooking Pasta

3) Cook Sausage as directed, when cooked through, cut sausage links into bite size pieces, drain fat off by straining with cold water

4) While sausage is cooking: slice and chop garlic and thinly slice white onion.  Chop both basil stalks, drain olives and slice or quarter, set aside basil and olives

5) Heat olive oil in a large pot, saute garlic and onion, add salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (add more flakes for more heat): heat through until onions are soft and your kitchen smells great!

6) Add drained and cut sausage to the pot with the garlic and onions, stir and cook over medium heat for 2 minutes

7) Add one of the chopped basils to the pot

8) Stir in cut olives and mix well

9) Pour can of diced tomatoes into pot, stir and cook for 5 minutes

10) Pour both jars of Alfredo Sauce into mixture, stir and cook continue to cook through on low heat as you finish the Pasta and Garlic bread 

Serve pasta with generous spoonfuls of sauce, top with chopped basil and shredded parmesan cheese.

Cut garlic bread, open wine and enjoy this simple and tasty dinner!!!
