Salted Garlic Crackers

  • Yield 12 servings


1 tablespoon fast rising yeast
6 cups flour
1/3 cup water
6 tablespoons olive oil
4 tablespoons kosher salt
6 cloves garlic


add water yeast and 1 T olive oil, mix on low speed for 8 minutes

add flour, mix for 8 minutes

let dough rest for 20 minutes

add 1 T salt

mix for 10 minutes

let dough rise for 2 hours

mince garlic, add to remaining salt and oil

cut dough into 6 pieces

roll out each one as thin as you can

top with garlic mixture 

bake on greased cookie sheet at 450 degrees for 10 minutes

cut into squares and let cool
