Rum Baste for Fruit
- Yield 8 servings
Brush this baste on pineapple steaks, peaches, bananas, melon or strawberries to be grilled and use as a dessert topping or over a green salad.
- 1/2 cup dark rum
- 1/8 cup brown sugar (light or dark)
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- pinch nutmeg
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
