Raggedy Robbins

  • Yield 2 dozen


1 cup sugar
1 tablespoon cocoa
1/2 stick butter
1/4 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup peanut butter
1 1/2 cups oatmeal


Heat first 4 ingredients together in a pot. Boil for one minute.  Remove from stove and stir in vanilla, peanut butter and oatmeal.    Drop teaspoonfuls of mixture onto cookie sheet and sprinkle with confectioner's sugar (optional).  Refrigerate.
