Quick-and-Easy Pie Crust

Here's a great pie crust to use when you want a healthier approach to your favorite pie.
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup natural wheat and barley cereal
- 1/4 cup canola oil
- 4 tablespoons ice water
Instructions
- In a food processor or mixing bowl, mix together flour and cereal. Add oil, stirring until mixed. Gradually add water, mixing until dough sticks together to form a ball. Refrigerate dough for 1 hour, if time permits. On a lightly floured surface, roll out dough into a 1/4-inch thick circle to fit into a pie plate. Transfer to a pie plate. Preheat oven to 350F. Bake crust for 30 to 35 minutes or until done. If filling pie, follow directions of the pie recipe.
