It's great - everyone I give it to loves it." Ingredients 1/2 cup light corn syrup1/2 cup sugar1 cup raw peanuts1 teaspoon baking soda Instructions Lightly butter a foil-lined baking sheet. Combine the corn syrup and sugar in a 1 1/2 quart saucepan. Cook over high heat until bubbly. Add the peanuts. Cook 6 minutes exactly, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon, and taking care not to burn the mixture. Remove from the heat and add the baking soda. Be careful; the mixture bubbles up when the soda is added. Stir quickly for 5 seconds. Pour the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet into a very thin layer.
