Plantation French Toast

  • Yield 2 servings

Serve this classic breakfast with fresh strawberries and sprigs of mint.


2 slices King's Hawaiian Bread, cut in half diagonally
1 tablespoon butter, softened
-- Nestle Quik
-- Cinnamon Sugar, ( half part of each, ground cinnamon and sugar)
-- Maple Syrup
2 -- Strawberries, quartered
-- Powdered Sugar
1 sprig Mint
-- Whipped Cream
-- Oil
-- Maple Syrup


  1. Spread soft whole butter on both sides of the sweet bread
  2. Sprinkle both sides with cinnamon sugar and Nestle's Quik
  3. Heat up a teflon frying pan, place some whole butter in pan, then add bread
  4. Lightly brown both sides of bread
  5. Place on plate, sprinkle with powdered sugar, top with whipped cream and mint sprig
  6. Place strawberries on plate, serve with maple syrup
