Pineapple Basil Smoothie

Ingredients
- 2 cups baby spinach
- 1/2 scoop vanilla protein
- 1/2 cup milk of your choice (I like soy or almond; add extra as needed)
- 1 tablespoon flax meal
- 1 1/2 cups fresh pineapple
- 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt*
- 10 basil leaves
- 5 to 10 ice cubes
Instructions
- Combine everything in a blender and process until smooth. The basil flavor is much more pronounced than the pineapple so adjust the amounts as your heart and taste buds desire.
*Without the greek yogurt, this is pretty sweet, so if you want it a little more tart, add the plain yogurt.
