- Yield 4 cups
Enjoy this tasty pear honey anytime.
- 1 pound ground pears (1 1/2 cups)
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/4 cup canned crushed pineapple
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- Wash, peel, and core fruit. Put pears through a food chopper, using coarse blade. Mix all ingredients and heat mixture, stirring thoroughly until sugar is dissolved. Boil canning jars. Adjust jar lids and bands. Process in boiling water bath canner (212F) for 10 minutes.
