Pear Crisp

6whole pears, peeled and sliced
1tablespoon finely chopped ginger
1/2cup brown sugar
1/2cup raisins
2teaspoons cinnamon
2tablespoons butter, cut into bits
1/4cup flour
3/4cup rolled oats
1/4cup brown sugar
1/4cup sugar
1teaspoon cinnamon
6tablespoons butter


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 
  2. Toss first six ingredients together in a bowl. Pour into a buttered baking dish. Using a fork, combine the remaining six ingredients. Spoon topping across pears. Bake for 30 minutes or until brown and bubbly.
