PrintEmail Ingredients 12 ounces angel hair pasta1 1/2 -- sliced fresh mushrooms1/2 cup butter2 tablespoons flour2 cups half-and-half1 cup milk4 ounces Cheddar cheese, shredded1 1/2 cups ground ham1/4 cup sherry1 teaspoon white pepper1 teaspoon onion juice1 teaspoon oregano (optional)1 -- garlic clove, crushed -- Salt to taste1 cup grated Parmesan cheese Instructions Cook the pasta using package directions; drain. Saute the mushrooms in the butter in a saucepan. Add the flour and mix well. Add the half-and-half and milk gradually, stirring constantly. Cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Stir in the Cheddar cheese, ham, sherry, white pepper, onion juice, oregano, garlic and salt. Cook until the cheese melts, stirring frequently. Add the pasta and mix gently. Spoon into a 2 1/2-quart baking dish. Sprinkle with the Parmesan cheese. Bake at 350F for 30 minutes or until bubbly. May be prepared in advance, stored in the refrigerator and baked just before serving.
