Oreo Cookie Cake

one pound oreo cookies
one cup melted margarine
eight ounce soft cream cheese
sixteen ounce cool whip
one cup powdered sugar
one large package instant chocolate pudding


Crush cookies and set aside 1/2 cup.  Mix crumbs with margarine and press into 9 x 13 pan.  Refrigerate one hour.  Mix cream cheese, sugar and 8 oz. of cool whip.  Spread over cookie crust.  Refrigerate one hour.  Prepare pudding mix by directions on package.  Spread over cream cheese mixture.  Refrigerate one hour.  Top with 8 oz. of  cool whip and sprinkle with rest of cookie crumbs.
