PrintEmail Ingredients 2 cups chopped pecans1 pound orange slices1 -- (8-ounce) package dates1 can coconut1 cup butter (not oleo)4 -- eggs1 1/2 cups sugar1 1/2 cups buttermilk1 teaspoon soda2 cups plain flour Instructions Melt butter and pour over pecans, orange slices dates and coconut. Mix the eggs, sugar, buttermilk, soda and flour and pour over first mixture. Mix well. Use a greased and floured tube pan. Bake 1 1/2 to 2 hours at 300F or bake until firm.
