New Orleans Chicken

  • Yield 3 servings


1 box Zatarain's New Orleans Style Chicken Flavor Rice
2 cups water
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 can 8 oz crushed pineapple
1 cup green pepper, diced
12 ounces cooked chicken breast, cubed or shredded


  1. In 2 qt. saucepan, combine all ingredients and bring to a boil.
  2. Reduce heat, stir, cover, and simmer over low heat for 25 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat, let stand 5 minutes.  Fluff and Serve.
