Mrs. Taylor’s Pound Cake

  • Yield 4-6 servings

Ingredients

1 cup crisco
2 cups sugar
6 large eggs
2 cups Swan's Down Cake Flour
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Cream crisco and sugar until mixture is not grainy. Beat each egg into crisco and sugar separately for several minutes until completely mixed. Add flour and extract. Pour into greased and floured tube pan. Start in cold oven. Set oven temperature at 350 and bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
