You are here: Home » Recipes » Mom’s Goulash Mom’s Goulash Recipe by cprater57 Yield 6 servings PrintEmail Ingredients 2 pounds ground beef1/2 large sweet onion1/2 large green pepper1/3 cup plus 2 Tbsp. worchestershire sauce8 ounces spaghetti1 1/2 quarts tomato juice1 pinch salt and pepper to taste1/2 teaspoon chili powder1 dash red pepper1/2 cup ketchup Instructions Brown ground beef, onions and green pepper in large skillet until done. While mixture is cooking add 2 Tbsp of worchestershire sauce along with salt and pepper. In large cooker or dutch oven, cook spaghetti until tender and drain. Drain ground beef mixture and place in dutch oven with spaghetti. Add remaining ingredients, let simmer for 10 to 15 minutes, stirring often to prevent sticking. If goulash is too thick, add extra tomato juice. You can also add more chili powder, salt and pepper to your own taste.
