PrintEmail Ingredients 2 cups whole wheat flour1 cup white flour1/2 cup sugar1 teaspoon salt2 teaspoons baking soda2 cups buttermilk1/2 cup molasses1 cup raisins (optional) Instructions Preheat oven to 250F. Sift flours, sugar, and salt; set aside. Add baking soda to buttermilk and combine with the sifted ingredients. Stir in molasses and raisins. Pour into tow greased, nine by five-inch loaf pans, and let sit for an hour. Bake for one to one-and-one quarter hors. Serve with butter or cream cheese.
