Mock Lobster Salad

1pound firm or extra-firm tofu, drained, rinsed and crumbled
2 ribs celery, minced
1tablespoon minced fresh dill
1/2teaspoon celery seed
1teaspoon paprika
Juice of 1 lemon
1teaspoon kosher salt
1teaspoon kosher salt
1teaspoon hot sauce
1/2cup low-fat mayonnaise or tofu-based substitute*


  1. Combine all ingredients well. Do not overmix or you will break up the tofu.
*Nayonnaise is an eggless tofu-based mayonnaise substitute that can be found in natural food stores.
