The beautiful color of this sherbet is as memorable as its tangy tropical flavor.
- 1 1/3 cups fresh mango puree
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup sugar
- 2/3 cup water
- -- Juice of 1 large lime
- Combine the mango puree, buttermilk, sugar, water and lime juice in a bowl and mix well. Spoon into an ice cream freezer and freeze using the manufacturer's directions.
