Macaroni and Cheese Casserole

  • Yield 8 servings

Ingredients

3 cups Uncooked Penne Pasta
1 large Egg
1 1/2 cups Milk
1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
4 ounces Cream Cheese
1 cup Swiss Cheese
3/4 cup grated Parmesan Cheese
1/8 teaspoon Salt
1/8 teaspoon Black Pepper
3 tablespoons Butter
12 whole Saltine Crackers, crumbled

Instructions

 

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions and drain. Put pasta back into the pan.
  2. Add the cream cheese while pasta is hot and stir to melt. Add other cheeses and stir. 
  3. In a medium bowl combine egg, milk, salt and pepper, stir to mix well. 
  4. Add to pasta and cheese mixture, mix well.
  5. Pour into a large, lightly greased casserole (13 X 9 inch or 8 cup) dish. 
  6. Combine butter and crackers and sprinkle over pasta mixture. 
  7. Bake at 350⁰ for 30 minutes or until browned and bubbly.
